You can add the student status if you are co-op member or belong to a co-op member’s household, and you’re a student at a Finnish university or another institution of higher education. To verify the status, you’ll need a valid student email address issued to you by the school.
Your student email address is only used to verify your student status. The address will not be stored in your records or used for marketing purposes.
The status is valid for one academic year at a time and renewed every September. When it’s time to renew the status, we’ll send you a renewal request to your personal email address (the one found on your S User Account). The status is then verified using your student email address.
To claim a deal, redeem the coupon in S-mobiili and show it to the cashier at the checkout. Be prepared to present your S-Etukortti card to the cashier.

Raffle rules
One S Group gift card worth 100 € will be drawn per week from 1 September to 31 December 2024. All co-op members who have added the student status during this period participate in the draw automatically. Gift cards are product-limited*. Winners are contacted personally, and the prizes are sent by mail. The winner must have a valid email address. The raffle is organised by S Group. The organiser cannot participate in the raffle. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or goods. Data about the participants will only be used for the raffle, and will not be stored in the customer records. S Group is responsible for the raffle tax. Details about our register can be found here.
*A product-limited S Group gift card is accepted as a payment method at all S Group's grocery stores, including Alepa, Sale, Food Market Herkku, S-market, Prisma, and Sokos. The product-limited gift card cannot be used to purchase items containing tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
