Say Goodbye to Paper Receipts
As a co-op member, you'll automatically receive receipts for your purchases in your personal receipt archive, which you can always access in the S-mobiili app or in your S User Account. This means that even if you misplace a paper receipt, you'll still have access to a digital version if needed.
By opting out of paper receipts, our co-op members have already spared up to 800 kilometres of unnecessary receipt paper per month. Every receipt that goes unprinted translates to preserved natural resources. Make the eco-conscious choice and switch off your paper receipts! You can do this if you use an S-Etukortti Visa or a mobile S-Etukortti card with your phone's near-field communication (NFC).
Follow these steps to opt out of paper receipts:
- Log in to your S User Account at s-kayttajatili.fi/en.
- Navigate to Co-op membership / Membership information and deactivate paper receipts.
- Then, update the Paperless service to your S-Etukortti card: Visit your local S Group self-service point with an S-Etukortti terminal (available at Prisma stores, most S-market stores, and many Sale stores, for example). Insert the S-Etukortti Visa card into the terminal’s chip reader and press F1.
- The terminal will notify you when the update is complete.
- If you're using the S-mobiili app, you can also deactivate paper receipts in the “Minä” (“Me”) section of S-mobiili.
From then on, when you use the S-Etukortti Visa card or the mobile S-Etukortti card with phone´s NFC function, a paper receipt will only be printed if specifically requested at the cash register.
